Was near St Paul’s Cathedral today, so thought I would take a couple of snapshots with my trusty Panasonic LX3.

Taken from the Millenium Bridge & path leading up to the Cathedral. Have to say you never realise how imposing this building is, until you see it in real life !!

Ultima GTR

Haven’t had time to do much photography recently, as I’ve been tied up with another passion of mine….. cars. Not sure if I’m mad to do this or not, but have decided to build an Ultima GTR. How much more intimate can you get with a car

Anyway this morning was spent fitting the headlights & upon finishing the job I found the light was streaming in the back of the garage, so time for a Mono dark moody shot trying to catch the outline of the car.

Le Mans 2011 – Crazy Fans

Having never been before, I jumped at the chance to travel to the Le Mans 24 hour race, with friends. Wanting to treat this more as a holiday I only took my trusty Panasonic LX5 compact.

Here are some snaps from the event, which for a change are not just cars

The next shots are from sunrise (5am ish), about 14 hours in to the race. Some of these fans are mad !!!

Had the pleasure of joining other driving enthusiasts on the weekend, for a drive across mid wales. Some stunning roads & equally stylish cars to photograph. All cars photographed as parked in a public car park, so no chance to stage shots. Backdrop wasn’t too bad though

Evesham – Winter meets Autumn

Who could help notice the wonderful frost structures from the last few days of freezing temps, and no I’m not talking about all those abandoned vehicles !

So armed with my trusty Panasonic LX5 I ventured out in the -7 degree weather, to take some photos at Evesham park today.

The postman very kindly delivered the Panasonic LX5 yesterday. Like most photographers there are instances where I don’t want to lug my DSLR around, so wanted something small but still able top deliver high quality photos.

So with a bit of snow on the ground and our 3 dogs hassling me for a walk, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone & take the LX5 along for some test shots. Without further ado here are the example photos from the Panasonic LX5. I think we’re going to get on well

Ariel Atom 3 – Car Photography

OK, I have a weakness for cars. Always have, always will.

So this is my latest car. The Ariel Atom 3. Basically super bike performance on 4 wheels, so Mrs Williams is no longer frightened of me buying another bike I just adore this car, from the looks, the elegant design of the frame & of course the way it drives. Wow this thing accelerates fast. Allegedly 0-60mph in 2.7 secs !!! & I’m not going to dismiss that from my experience with the car.

Anyway, enough blabbing about the Ariel Atom & time for some photos. All taken at the Cheltenham Race course which has a great backdrop of the Cotswold Hills.

Corporate Photography – IBM Regatta 2010

Lucky enough to be invited by IT & Voice Managed Services company Niu , to take some corporate photographs from IBM’s Regatta for 2010.

This was a 2 day event, with races taking place from Port Solent, Portsmouth, across to Cowes, Isle of White. An excellent couple of days, with some great guys from Niu & IBM making up the crews.
