When a Motorbike dealer requested some commercial photographs using one of their bikes, I knew it was going to be a good shoot. Reason being, I love motorbikes & the Triumph 675 Daytona Sports bike I was handed to shoot, has to be one of the best looking bikes out there. When you have a real passion for something, you can’t help but let that show through in your photography.
The only remit from the customer was, make the shot’s edgy. Hmmmmm

The typical commercial photo of a bike is at the start of a long winding road, that you can see roll out in the distance. Not for me, this shoot.
Whilst dribbling, sorry looking over the bike, I noticed just how modern & sleek looking these bikes are these days. Wouldn’t it be great to offset this against something more “run down” , rough looking. So there was the plan for the shoot. On a recent trip to Gloucester Docks I had noticed a run down area that could be ideal. A quick reccy of the location proved this to be correct.
