Hi Dave,

great post, thnx a lot!!
after making “welcome” page as default landing page(under the wall settings) it doesn’t work. The wall page is still landing.

have an idea?

Hello Dave! I’ve read your post 3 time already and didn’t succeeded with the “Welcome” tab. I did the “View” > “Page Source”, but it doesn’t show me your text, what you wrote there. Only log-ins and other facebook stuff. I am zero when it comes to HTML, but though, I wish to fix this Welcome tab and have it nicely done. Could you help me, please ?

Glad it’s been of use. I think you should find all other people land on correct page, but as you state as page owner you default to the wall page. Suppose it makes sense that the you don’t want to see your own welcome page all the time, however nice it end up

great tutorial, nice and easy to follow. the only issue I seem to have now is that even after setting the welcome tab as the default landing, when I go to my page it still defaults to the wall tab. another facebook bug I guess!! thanks for taking the time to add this guide.

Hi Ann, if you go to my facebook welcome page and then from your web browser menu choose VIEW then PAGE SOURCE you will be able to see how I created mine. Just page down until you see the start of my welcome text. You’ll note I have some bold text on my page plus some links, so hopefully this will point you in right direction.

I am interested in how to add photos or images to the “Welcome” tab I created. I used your coding to add text, but I am interested in doing the following coding:

1.designate font, size, color, bold
2.create a link from a word to a website page (i.e. clicking on “click here” would take me to my website)
